Overview:
proXPN has recently made their business model free and you can upgrade to a paid account should you require any tech support, what we found with proXPN is that currently they only have USA IP numbers and the other countries they used to offer are not discontinued. Getting started with proXPN was very easy, simply enter in your email address and a password and your given the proXPN software download link, simply install their software which works on the openVPN platform and enter your email/password combo and you should connect to their servers. Overall we were satisfied with the speed, connectivity and reliability and they do reply to support tickets to get you working should you have any issues on the free model, anything beyond that you might be required to pay if you need their support.
What they claim:
That they offer a free VPN service at 128bit encryption using open vpn. Their paid model you get 2048bit military encryption and support 24/7

proXPN is NOT a vpn! I suggest everyone read this : http://www.reddit.com/r/netsec/comments/eej8q/question_vpn_bypasses_your_firewall_right/
Also, I suggest you check on the Registrar (MONIKER ONLINE SERVICES, INC.). You should read http://spamtrackers.eu/wiki/index.php/Moniker

Gordon,
Of course proXPN are a VPN provider they are using OPEN VPN and PPTP style VPN protocols.
Your reference to reddit means nothing at all and you link to Moniker well that is meant to be what.
If your going to post something, at least post something with substance

I love proxpn, their software just gets better and better.
I’ve just been to china recently and found that proxpn was working there too as my previous VPN provider stopped working since all the blocks there. It certainly is the great firewall of china
